Videos!

Other videos I wanted to share....

I'm sorryyyyy. Ehehh. You would laugh at much I laughed watching David Archuleta's vlog.

It's kind of weird too how I'm putting up someone else's vlog on my blog. Hahah. Anyway, I love this guy for obvious or not so obvious reasons you can ask me about.
listening to: Yellow- Coldplay

Sooooo I looked over my past posts on this new blog and it seems that half my posts are about studying. Not good. So I'll blog about something else.

I went to watch Up on Tuesday! I was pretty cool. I cried within the first 10 minutes, and I do recall shrieking a little everytime Russell or someone almost plunged to their deathhhhh. (note: if you ever watch a movie with me, be prepared to be disturbed with my shrieks)
I have to admit, I wasn't completely blown away or whatever. It WAS a really good movie. But not super great. I think it's because ever since June or whatever I'd been reading rave reviews about Up and so I had like really high expectations for it but when I watched it it didn't quite HIT ME. Ah well. Also, GSC CUT SOME SCENES from the movie. Whyyyy would they want to cut some parts from Up? Also WHYYY was Up rated PG 13? Heh.

Before Up, we went to Borders and I saw this book called Burning Bright. (I don't really like browsing through all the books in the section to find a good book because there are so many and you don't really know whether a book is good or not till you read it. or at least, I don't.) This one caught my attention because of its title (before I die I wanna burn out bright!) Soooo I read the blurbs and stuff and one that made me want to get the book was one that said something the lines of 'A thoughtful exploration of how we misread each other by being trapped in our own perspectives.'

And also, for some reason I prefer reading books about kids, or teenagers.
Anyway, being the doof that I am, only after buying the book did I realise that the blurb was actually for some other book that the author wrote. lol. Not the one that I bought.

I'm somewhere in the middle of the book now. I'll post my thoughts on it after I finish it. :D Which I don't think I will, because I should be studying. Heh.
Honestly, I have studied more in one school day than I have this entire week. :/ I felt more urgency when I was preparing for the trials than for this. Hmm. Actually I do feel the urgency, hah, but the urgency isn't urgent enough to make me get off the computer. I'm hoping it's just the holiday mood we're in right now, and when school starts again I can start annoying Alicia about how many days we have left to PMR. :D It's more motivating to study when others around you are studying too. Which is not the case at home even though my brother's UPSR is in a week and my sister's SPM trials is also in a week. Hmmmm.
Yes, I'm a total nerd. x]
I am confuzzled. Blow nuffnang. I haven't even done the Bible Camp Logo thingy yet. >.<
This post is about nothing in particular... I'm following Stephen's advice (WHICH I AM VERY THANKFUL FOR, VERY THANKFUL INDEED) in adding my nuffnang ads which I'm having trouble with. Yes. HTML gives me headaches. One of the many things that give me headaches.

anyway down to business...

School break it or make it

One week school break. And it's up to me to decide if I'm going to spend my time studyingggggg. Or if I'm going to, well I wouldn't say waste, use my time for going online and watching movies. As I did just now and am doing now. Heh. <3 Becoming Jane. :DDD
Anyways. For a reason, I didn't feel like studying the entire afternoon. And I didn't get a chance to revise anything on Saturday and Sunday, so I'm behind on my schedule ( I may take a picture of it and show you guys) aaaand now I'm even more behind! I have to work my butt off tonight.

Today was the finals! Yesterday in the semis our pair of men's doubles crashed out. Not totally destroyed though. It was terrible. I was practically screaming every 5 minutes because it was such a close match. But in the end Malaysia didn't make it. Reaaaaal close though. Kudos to the Zakry-Faisomething and Tan-Koo dudes.

World Badminton Championships in India! A few days ago it was all *super good experienced player* *whacks shuttlecock* *SMASH* *new but has potential dude gets totally destroyed in two sets*
Two malaysian players that I've been following, Wong Choong Hann and Lee Chong Wei both got kicked out the day before yesterday and yesterday. :( Little consolation though, I like that the commentator was all 'He's just sooooo nice' over and over again during Choong Hann's losing game. "He's just soooooooo nice, so he can't win" or something like that. hah. And after Chong Wei lost the commentator (who, while commenting on Chong Wei's games, kept calling him stuff like 'my pegasus', 'my boy!' and stuff. haha) and the other commentator was all 'He's SUCH a gentleman!' . Well I'm too lazy to explain why they said that now. You can ask me if you meet me.

gbuy.
